Everything Is Connected

Everything Is Connected

I felt great hope when, in a moment of what I would describe as incisive contemplation, I came across Penny Pearce's Frequency that seem to speak to me about an autumnal existentialism in my quest for higher understanding.

I fit in one of the stages on the way to full emotional awareness and, hopefully, enlightenment.

It is so wonderful to experience how connected everything is. I was again reading Wayne Dyer's Your Sacred Self, this time with a deeper understanding of his story about the twins in a womb named Ego and Spirit.

The Quest For Peace

Saturday Stories
May 21, 2016 Edition
My mind works differently from that of others. I know I live in a culture with a chronic fear of silence, where people play at full volume the same songs over and over again so they don't get bored.

There are people with no inner resources so they bombard themselves by outiside stimuli all the time. There are also some people, like me and Zen monks and Shinto priests, who need moments of peace and quiet. My time for myself is the source of my inner balance.

Dreamwalking (2)

Dreamwalking (2)

I thought briefly about what word would flash in other people's heads when they think of me. Then I realized I don't even care what others think about me.

I also noticed that the more critical and judgmental a person, the more I find his opinions insignificant to me.

Kaulder has tracked down and killed witches for centuries with the help of Axe and Cross, a secret order that proclaims itself as the protector of the human race against the threat of supernatural creatures.

I'm sure they meant well, yet I didn't even blink when Kaulder was betrayed by his own people. Maybe it's because, like the reborn Witch Queen, my cynicism and disillusion with humanity has grown so deep that only a Dreamwalker can help me find it.

Dreamwalking

 Dreamwalking

There is a group of blind masseurs who had set up plastic chairs on the mall hallway. The cinemas were on the same floor with the ticket booth just a few meters from where we were.

I strolled over to The Last Witch Hunter with Vin Diesel, Elijah Wood and Michael Caine.

The immortal witch hunter Kaulder finds that the girl he saved from a sorcerer is a Dreamwalker, one who has the power to take you inside your own mind.

He lets her guide him into his deepest memories through a word that she associates with him: "Alone."
