The entire stretch of the Maguindanao highway leading to the three government buildings in the province has been secured, according to Philippine National Police Director General Jesus Versoza during the press briefing.

But what about the backhoe? “That piece of equipment is now being held as evidence but the problem is that it’s not enough to have any case filed against individuals suspected of being behind this entire thing,” said Interior and Local Government Secretary Ronnie Puno.
