I learned so much in 2009. I can honestly say I am a better man. I have encountered people, been in situations and read books that developed my character and instilled in me the mindset of living my life to the fullest and maximizing my talents to make positive contributions to the world.
I like who I am, and that’s why I’m never afraid of solitude. I am happy for the successes of others because – and only those who really know me will know it’s true – I have never felt intimidated by anybody, ever.
I know who I am. I know my strengths and weaknesses. I know my limits – and my potentials. I am secure enough so I don’t assume I’m superior to everyone I meet, but I would never kowtow to anyone.
It’s okay if people think they’re better than me because I find great amusement watching people who are trying to impress others, feeling smug due to superficial things.
You go around the world and you will lose count of people who are better than me, but I said it before and I’ll say it again – after all is said and done, I would rather be me than anybody else.
