Alfonzo was walking in Avenida. It was 8:05 PM. A big stereo in store selling smuggled appliances was playing “Stay” by Cueshe. He stopped at the glass window. He had no reflection. “Hmm.” he said. He went into the street.
The LRT rumbled above. Watching its passage, he thought: So many changes.
“Hello!” greeted Sharona, materializing out of thin air.
“Hi!” Alfonzo replied. The natives are friendly, he thought.
“I am well.”
“Why don’t you say it out loud?”
“I know everything.”

I believe a meaningful life starts and ends with the attitude of gratitude.
I have so many blessings that I lost count, from true and loyal friends who have stood the test of time, to the sense of blessed completeness for having finally found the love of a lifetime.
