NAIA Limits Passenger-Area Access

Manila – Access passes for people greeting and sending off passengers at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport has been temporarily suspended as a precaution against the possible transmission of the Influenza A(H1N1) virus, said airport general manager Al Cusi. Movie and TV filmings in the premises are banned for the time being. Passenger areas are also strictly off-limits to airport employees with no official business there. “Times like these require drastic measures which we are sure the public would understand as it is a worldwide concern,” said Cusi.
