This is fiction inspired by the “Silence of The Lambs,” Prince and Steven Spielberg

Behind Color Purple Curtains

Me: Hello, good evening!
She: It’s already morning!
Me: Can we have sex on the phone?
She: Are you from Mandaluyong?
He: Tell me what you’re wearing.
She: What Ginebra are you drinking?
Me: What’s the color of your underwear?
She: That’s something I never wear!
Me: I want to unload my burden, luv.
She: What is this, Doctor Love?
Me: Please take off your dress.
She: I already have – it’s a mess!
Me: Why, are you wet?
She: Why don’t you look for a panget?
Me: What are you doing now, luv?
She: I’m wiping away all that blood.
Me: (after a startled pause) What blood?
She: I’m sitting beside my husband in bed.
He: Don’t you think he might hear you?
She: The Comelec will deny it, buy he’s dead.
He: You murdered him, didn’t you?
She: Hey, it’s still a free country, right?
I stabbed him at four past midnight.
Me: Oh you mean he’s still not stiff.
She: This smelly gigolo’s never stiff!
I used a brand new Batangas knife
’cause I’m his awfully wedded wife.
Me: Hey, are you eating something?
She: Sorry, but it gave me an appetite.
He: So, what are you having?
She: Pandesal, his liver, Mang Tomas and Sprite.
Me: Midnight snack?
She: Cor-RAK!
